Everybody thinks the nice thing. Almost nobody says it.
The covered shift gets a thumbs-up emoji. The closed deal gets "nice." The friend who showed up all year gets… nothing. Not because anybody stopped noticing — you notice plenty. The saying is where it falls apart.
The card aisle is no help. It knows three things about your life: you have birthdays, you attend weddings, and once a year you feel gratitude in a floral font. The moments that actually fill your year have no section.
Standing O is for those. A standing ovation for everyday moments — not oversized, overdue. Because telling somebody they crushed it, that you noticed, that they're a legend for covering your Tuesday? That's not a grand gesture. That's ordinary. It should be happening constantly. We just made it easy to do on the spot.
So we build sets you keep on hand — fifteen cards in a carrier that lives in your bag or your desk — so when the moment happens, you're already ready. Hand it over and share the moment right there, or leave it behind and they open it later, your handwriting inside. Either way, it stays. On the fridge. In the locker. 'Til spring, at least.
The words on our cards are short on purpose. The moment is the main event. The card just makes sure it happens out loud.
